Powston is a Brisbane-based energy-software company that designs, commissions and operates trading-ready solar and battery systems. Our platform dispatches each site every five minutes against wholesale and retail prices, with safe local fallback when the cloud is unreachable, and reports performance against settled utility-meter data rather than inverter estimates.
We work two ways. For homeowners and businesses we act as SAA-accredited designer of record — sizing inverter power, storage, export capacity and tariff pathway around the customer's bill, not just the roof — with installation by accredited partner crews and ongoing operation on a Powston subscription. For installers and retailers we provide the design and control layer as a partnership: you supply, install and warrant the system; Powston designs, verifies the control path at commissioning, and runs it for the life of the asset.
