What Makes Us Unique
PV Industries have developed in-house processing technology to maximise the value of the recovered materials for use in local manufacturing. Our unique process separates solar panels piece by piece, resulting in lower contamination and higher value recovered materials. This is compared to other cutting, crushing and shredding methods which produce high contamination and lower value outputs.

- Developed in-house mechanical processing technology to remove aluminium frames, junction boxes and cables.
- Developed in-house mechanical processing technology to recover the glass, separating the remaining laminate.
- The process currently results in zero waste to landfill through the removal of aluminium and clean glass, using our world leading process. The final step in our processing will focus on the metal recovery from the solar cells and will likely be the commercially operating process for end-of-life solar cell processing globally.
