VSUN Energy

  • Energy Storage

VSUN Energy delivers integrated renewable energy solutions using vanadium flow battery (VFB) technology, with a focus on utility and mining sectors. Systems range from kilowatt-hour (kWh) to gigawatt-hour (GWh) scale, supporting long-duration energy storage needs. The company also ensures a high level of local content by supplying vanadium electrolyte manufactured in Western Australia.

VFB technology is well-established, offering safe and reliable energy storage with minimal degradation over decades of use. The batteries can last over 30 years, providing virtually unlimited cycles without significant loss of capacity. VFBs are non-flammable and do not require complex systems for heating, cooling, or physical spacing. Additionally, the vanadium electrolyte can be reused or the vanadium itself recovered for future applications, ensuring sustainability at the end of the battery’s lifecycle.

VSUN Energy is a wholly owned subsidiary of ASX-listed Australian Vanadium Limited (ASX: AVL).
